Parking & Public transport

Hotel Grand Canal is situated in the historic city centre of Delft. Several public parking facilities are available nearby. It is possible to stop briefly in front of the hotel to unload luggage.

Please note that parking along the canals is not permitted, as these spaces are reserved for permit holders.

The nearest parking garage is Parking Garage Zuidpoort, located approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

If you are in possession of a valid disabled parking card, different parking rules apply in Delft. In some cases, free parking is possible, provided that your license plate is registered in advance.

Large parts of Delft’s city centre are car-free. Access to these areas is monitored by camera registration based on license plates. A valid exemption is required to enter the car-free zone. Without an exemption, a fine may be issued.

Hotel Grand Canal is located just outside the car-free area. We therefore advise guests arriving by car to pay close attention to traffic signs and recommended driving routes when entering the city centre.

Hotel Grand Canal is just a 2-minute walk from Delft Central Station, making it easily accessible by train.

Exit the station on the city centre side, cross the street and walk through Barbarasteeg. You will immediately see the side of our hotel.

Delft is easily reached by train from cities such as The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
