Reception
We do not have a 24-hour reception, but our team is available daily:
Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 22:00
Saturday & Sunday: 07:30 – 22:00
Do you have any questions, would you like tips for Delft, or do you need to arrange something extra during your stay? We are happy to assist you personally.
Arrival & Departure
Arrival
With a direct booking, you are welcome to check in from 15:00.
If you booked through another booking platform, check-in is possible from 16:00.
Late Arrival
Arriving after reception hours? Please let us know in advance, and we will ensure easy access to the hotel in the evening. This can also be arranged on the day of arrival, provided we are informed in time.
Departure
On the day of departure, check-out is possible until 11:00.
We kindly ask our guests to vacate the room by the agreed check-out time so that housekeeping can prepare the room for incoming guests.
Arriving Earlier or Leaving Later
Would you like to check in earlier or enjoy your room a little longer? An early check-in or late check-out is possible based on availability and for an additional fee. You can request this in advance or during the reservation process.
Luggage Storage
Arriving early or planning to explore Delft after checking out? You are welcome to temporarily store your luggage with us. Please note that we do not have a secured luggage storage room.
Historic Building
Hotel Grand Canal is located in a historic building full of character. As a result, there is no elevator, and all rooms are accessible via stairs. Even the rooms on the ground floor require a few steps. Of course, we are happy to assist you with your luggage.
Lounge – Het Grachtenhuys
On the first floor, you will find Het Grachtenhuys, our cozy lounge where you can enjoy a drink and a snack in a relaxed setting.
Breakfast
Breakfast is something we are proud of. For a small-scale hotel, we offer an extensive and carefully prepared breakfast buffet, with a wide selection of fresh and flavorful products. Vegetarian and vegan guests are well catered for. Do you have dietary requirements or specific preferences? Please let us know in advance, and we will gladly take them into account.
Housekeeping
Your room is cleaned daily with care.
If you are staying in a studio, the following applies:
- For stays of up to 3 nights, no interim cleaning is provided
- For stays of 4 nights or longer, interim cleaning is included
If you have additional wishes during your stay, please feel free to let us know.
Bicycle Rental
Delft and its surroundings are ideal to explore by bike. At Hotel Grand Canal, we rent out bicycles ourselves. Our reception team will be happy to inform you about availability and help you get started on a pleasant ride through the city and surrounding area.
Extra Beds & Baby Bed
Traveling with children or need an extra bed? Upon request and subject to availability, we are happy to provide an extra bed or baby bed. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.
Special Requests
Do you have a special wish for your stay, such as a surprise in the room, separate beds, or anything else that would make your stay extra special? Please feel free to contact us — we are happy to think along with you.
